Anta Pottery, founded in 1976, upon undergoing the initial setup period has launched its plant in 1981 at No.185, Yongchang Street, Yigge Township. Through 15 years of research and development in achieving glazing breakthrough know-how, it not only brings to life the long-lost Celadon, Ding Ware, Ru Ware, but also continues to uphold adapting the Taiwanese cultural spirit in the local porcelain and china making.
In 1992, the first celadon cup has been born, and every product developed thereafter has been derived from painstaking design and firing, making the products not only practical in function but also the value of visual appeal, and popularizing the earlier imperial china into modern day living wares, made possible by our goal and effort of an artistic living concept.
In the land we live, we see many astounding things and objects Taiwan has to offer, whether it be the black-faced Spoonbills that winter in Taiwan, or the Taiwan salmon thriving in the southernmost latitude around the world, or the unique and enriching aboriginal cultures to name a few, all projecting their exquisite and distinctive beauty that binds the Taiwanese people in an enduring common entity. Anta Pottery’s upholding the concept of creating the best pottery for showcasing Taiwan’s beauty has spawned the Wonders of Formosa serial work, which integrates the beauty of Taiwan indigenous floral and fauna, and combines a wide array of color glaze applied to the exquisite porcelain by hand is intended to excel the titillating flare of the beauty of Taiwan.It not only exhilarates the people of Taiwan, but also puts Taiwan on the map, showing Taiwan’s unique humanity ambience and distinct landscape.
