The Tea Mate Group
Tea, incense, painting and flower-arrangement are the four great artistic traditions that have flourished in China for thousands of years, modes of cultivation essential for the literati. The senses of sight, touch, smell, hearing and taste induce an interior inspiration in response. These were also intrinsic to the "5 Senses Design" methodology of the contemporary period. The tea mate group provides the classical tea ceremony with more inspiration from the four arts-tea ware, incense ware, flower wares and painting stick.
